The Ziro Festival of Music will return from 24 to 27 September 2026 at the festival ground in Biiri, Ziro, in Arunachal Pradesh. Gates will be open from 11.30 am to 8 pm each day. The festival was first held in 2012.

The announced lineup includes Michael Dias, Yohani, Owelle, Vedan, Kaali Duniya, Yelhomie, Talahib, Apoorva Krishna, NOVO, Midival Punditz, Saltaire and Parikrama. Musicians from the Northeast will share the stage with performers from Sri Lanka, Algeria, Ireland, Palestine, Nepal, Thailand and South Korea.

The festival follows a zero-plastic policy and uses bamboo structures, with local Apatani artisans helping build the site. This year adds the India chapter of Circuit Mixers, a residency for electronic music artists, along with workshops and activities for children. Tickets start at Rs 3,700, and visitors can camp on the grounds or stay in nearby hotels and homestays.

The nearest airport is at Lilabari in Assam, about 100 km away, and the nearest railway station is Naharlagun near Itanagar. Indian visitors need an Inner Line Permit, while foreign visitors need a Protected Area Permit.
